After a lot of research, a post-quantum secured and biometric barcode has been developed for instant identity checks.
The Secure Document Biometric Barcode (SDBB) embeds a photograph and personal data, which is secured with classical digital signatures and a post-quantum resilient hash based method. Through a freely available mobile application each officer, authority and citizen can verify the information contained in the SDBB. The photo is displayed on the smart phone and can be compared with the one printed on the card and the holder of the card. Therefore biometric identity verification is easy for officers, police, banks, insurance companies, airlines, hotels and for everyone who needs to securely check an ID.
